The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Sales Director to take the reins of our sales floor on an initial 6-month contract. You’ll lead our Sales Team Leaders, energise the floor and drive performance across the team. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to get the best out of people in a high-volume, target-driven environment.
Requirements
Lead, coach, and motivate Sales Team Leaders to consistently hit individual and team targets
Own the energy and culture of the sales floor keeping morale high and performance higher
Drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance through clear KPI management and accountability
Monitor call quality, conversion rates, and pipeline activity, stepping in to course correct where needed
Work closely with the senior leadership team to align floor activity with wider business goals
Deliver regular team briefings, performance reviews, and one-to-ones that inspire and develop people
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience managing a contact centre or outbound/inbound sales floor at a senior level
Strong track record of leading Sales Team Leaders and managing through others
Deep understanding of metrics conversion rates, call quality, and SLAs
Natural motivator who can energise a floor and create a high-performance culture
Experience in utilities, telecoms, financial services or similar regulated sectors a strong advantage
