We are currently working with a fast-growing MSP in the Preston area who are on the look out for a proactive, motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) with 2+ years MSP or Technology Services experience to join their commercial team.
The SDR plays a crucial role in generating new sales pipeline through targeted outreach, lead qualification, and positioning the MSPs service portfolio to their potential customers. This is a high-impact position for someone who thrives on building relationships, generating opportunities, and contributing directly to business growth.
Key responsibilities:
* Attend office in Preston up to 3 days per week (2 days working remote)
* Proactively generate and qualify new sales pipeline through outreach (calls, email, LinkedIn, etc.)
* Identify and engage with key decision-makers in target accounts
* Work closely with Sales and Marketing to drive outreach campaigns and messaging
* Qualify inbound leads and progress them through the funnel
* Book qualified meetings and demos for field/closing sales teams
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records and activity logs
* Provide feedback on market trends, objections and competitive insights
About You
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a sales development or lead generation role, ideally within an MSP or technology/IT services environment
* Comfortable with outbound prospecting and proactive engagement strategies
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Demonstrates resilience, organisation and self-motivation
* Commercially minded with a clear focus on creating pipeline and contributing to growth
* Understanding of MSP services, recurring revenue models and IT buying cycles
