With an ambitious growth strategy and a strong reputation in the marketplace, they are looking to appoint a proactive and organised Sales & Operations Coordinator to join their team on a maternity cover basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service and operational support.

The Role

As the Sales & Operations Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring the smooth processing of customer orders and maintaining excellent relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.

Working closely with the Sales and Production teams, you will help coordinate orders, manage customer enquiries, and support a range of administrative and operational activities.

Key Responsibilities

Process and accurately log daily orders across both B2B and direct-to-consumer channels.
Deliver excellent customer service via telephone and email, responding to enquiries promptly and professionally.
Maintain and update customer, order, and stock information using Excel and internal systems.
Prepare shipping labels and dispatch documentation to support efficient order fulfilment.
Liaise with internal departments to coordinate customer orders, production schedules, and deliveries.
Support the resolution of customer queries, delivery issues, and order amendments.
Provide general administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the office.
Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail in all communications and order processing.
Assist with company fleet administration and vehicle management.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience within administration, customer service, sales support, or order processing.
Strong customer service skills and a professional telephone manner.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and confidence using computer-based systems.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
The ability to work effectively within a busy and fast-paced environment.
A proactive and collaborative approach to work.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Desirable Experience

Experience within food production, agriculture, FMCG, logistics, or distribution sectors.
Familiarity with courier or delivery management systems.
Experience supporting both B2B and B2C order fulfilment processes.
