We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering company seeking a driven Sales Executive/Business Development professional to support continued growth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a proactive approach to sales who enjoys building relationships, developing new business opportunities, and growing existing customer accounts within a technical environment.
Job Responsibilities:
* Generate new business opportunities through proactive sales activity.
* Build and develop long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
* Identify customer requirements and provide suitable engineering solutions.
* Manage and grow key customer accounts.
* Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and support the sales process through to completion.
* Work closely with internal engineering and project teams to ensure excellent customer service.
* Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular updates on business development activity.
Experience Required:
* Previous experience in a sales, business development, or account management role.
* Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills.
* Experience generating new business and developing existing accounts.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
* Experience within an engineering, manufacturing, automation, or technical environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
