An established and growing business within the industrial sector is seeking a Sales Advisor to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is a varied sales role combining new business development and account management, ideal for someone who enjoys building long-term customer relationships while actively developing new opportunities. You will work in a fast-paced environment where responsiveness, organisation, and a consultative sales approach are key.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide a high standard of customer service throughout the sales process
* Proactively contact existing customers and new prospects
* Use a consultative, fact-finding approach to recommend suitable products
* Manage the full sales cycle from initial enquiry through to order and delivery
* Maintain and update the CRM system accurately
* Effectively manage and develop your sales pipeline
* Handle incoming customer enquiries and resolve issues efficiently
* Build strong working relationships internally and externally
* Develop product knowledge to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
* Identify potential markets and new business opportunities
Key Skills
* Previous sales experience is advantageous but not essential
* Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with customers by phone and in person
* Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
* Self-motivated, organised, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Competent with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
* Full UK driving licence and own transport
* Willingness to travel occasionally and attend trade events
* Supportive team environment with opportunities for development
