Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

The Opportunity
Our Client is seeking an experienced and highly organised Sales Administrator to join their friendly and supportive team of six based in Exeter. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with an industrial trade background who enjoys providing first-class customer service and supporting a busy sales operation.
The customer base is made up of approximately 30% retail customers and 70% commercial clients, so you'll be comfortable dealing with a variety of enquiries and building strong relationships with both individuals and business customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
* Handling inbound customer enquiries via telephone and email
* Supporting the sales team with quotations, pricing, and order administration
* Liaising with suppliers, customers, and internal departments
* Maintaining accurate customer records and sales documentation
* Ensuring orders are processed within agreed timescales
* Resolving customer queries and providing excellent service throughout the sales process
* General administrative support within a busy office environment
About You
* Previous experience in a Sales Administrator role
* Industrial trade sector experience is essential
* Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
* Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong organisational and time management abilities
* Confident using Microsoft Office and internal systems
* Professional, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team
* Customer-focused with a proactive approach to problem-solving
