In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the sales function while acting as a primary point of contact for customers. You will help ensure a seamless customer journey from order placement through to delivery, contributing to both operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities

Process and manage customer orders accurately and efficiently across multiple platforms, including company websites, eBay, and Amazon
*
Act as a first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone and email, providing timely and professional support
*
Respond to queries relating to order status, delivery schedules, returns, and product information
*
Proactively communicate with customers regarding order updates, delays, or out-of-stock items
*
Review and validate customer orders and payments to ensure accuracy and compliance with security procedures
*
Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfilment and delivery
*
Maintain accurate records and update internal systems, including order confirmations and customer interactions
*
Support the sales team with administrative tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
*
Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain product details and updates when required
*
Assist in improving processes and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
*
Handle customer issues and complaints professionally, aiming for prompt and satisfactory resolution
*
Undertake additional administrative and customer service duties as required by the business
Candidate Qualities & Experience
*
Previous experience in a customer service and/or sales administration role is desirable
*
Strong customer service skills with a professional and confident telephone manner
*
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
*
Good IT skills; experience with SAP or similar systems would be an advantage
*
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
*
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
*
Well organised, methodical, and able to meet deadlines
*
A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn
*
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve customer issues effectively
