Our client is a leading manufacturer, due to continued growth, they are seeking a driven Sales Account Manager to expand relationships and grow revenue within the education market.
As Sales Account Manager, you will manage and grow a portfolio of predominantly education clients while proactively developing new business opportunities. You’ll work closely with schools, colleges, and universities to understand their print and publishing needs and deliver tailored solutions that enhance communication, branding, and learning outcomes.
Reporting to the Managing Director, duties to include:
* Manage and grow an existing portfolio of client accounts
* Develop new business across schools, academies, colleges, and universities
* Promote the full range of products and services
* Advise clients through presentations, and product knowledge/demonstrations
* Prepare proposals, quotations, and tender responses
* Build strong, long‑term relationships with key decision‑makers (Heads, Business Managers, Marketing Teams, Procurement)
* Work closely with internal production, design, and customer service teams to ensure seamless delivery
* Achieve sales targets, revenue growth, and account retention goals
* Maintain accurate CRM records and sales reporting
The ideal candidate will have experience of Sales, account management or customer service within an office environment, demonstrate a confident and positive attitude to work to, together with excellent relationship‑building skills with a consultative sales approach.
You will be flexible and have the ability to work well under pressure either within a team or have initiative to work alone and a working knowledge of a CRM system would be beneficial.
