A well-established aviation business is hiring a Senior Account Manager to join its commercial team, supporting a busy aircraft maintenance environment.
This is a customer-facing role where you'll own key accounts end-to-end - contract oversight, commercial negotiation, performance reviews, and ensuring operational teams are aligned to deliver against customer expectations and agreed KPIs.
Role: Sales Account Manager (Senior level) | Location: Doncaster (on-site) | Type: Permanent | Salary: Competitive and DOE
Key responsibilities will include:
Acting as the primary commercial point of contact for assigned customer accounts
Managing customer contracts and ensuring compliance with commercial terms
Maximising contract value in line with agreed terms and scope
Attending customer meetings, wash-ups, and performance reviews
Issuing contract briefs to operational teams to support delivery
Reviewing and negotiating additional Customer Work Requests (CWRs)
Liaising with Production, Planning and Materials teams to support delivery
Identifying commercial risks and opportunities across accounts
Ensuring work orders, billing and invoicing activity is accurate and delivered to KPI
Producing performance summaries and customer reporting post-input
Supporting proposals, quotations and contract renewals
Leading, mentoring and supporting Account Managers within the team
Deputising for the Commercial Director when required
Key skills and experience required:
Strong aviation commercial / account management background (customer-facing)
Proven contract management capability and commercial negotiation experience
Working knowledge of Part-145 maintenance operations
Solid understanding of aircraft maintenance operations, maintenance programmes and commercial processes
Confident stakeholder management - able to manage expectations and drive outcomes
Leadership experience - mentoring/supporting Account Managers or similar
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working under pressure with multiple stakeholders
Competent with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
