Retail Lecturer (Special Educational Needs College - Lincoln)
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Retail Lecturer to join a specialist education college supporting learners with additional needs in Lincoln.
This is a long-term, ongoing position, starting in September, working 4 days per week, with Tuesday and Wednesday as fixed days. The remaining two days are flexible to suit the successful candidate.
Role Overview
You will be working closely with students on a 1:1 and small group basis, helping them develop practical retail skills, employability confidence, and independence. The focus is on accessible, engaging teaching tailored to individual learning needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging retail-based learning sessions
* Provide 1:1 support to learners with special educational needs
* Adapt teaching approaches to suit a range of abilities
* Support students in developing workplace and life skills
* Contribute to individual learning plans and progress tracking
* Create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
About You
* Experience in retail or a related industry (essential)
* Teaching experience preferred, but QTS is not mandatory
* Experience working with or supporting learners with additional needs is highly desirable
* Patient, adaptable, and committed to inclusive education
* Able to build positive, supportive relationships with students

* Pay Rate: £150 - £160 per day
