Manpower is recruiting an experienced Retail Manager to oversee daily operations at a busy retail outlet based in Llandough.
Role Purpose
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a small team, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining stock levels and driving store performance, all while upholding the highest standards of food hygiene and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate and support the retail team to deliver excellent service and operational efficiency.
Oversee day-to-day store operations, including opening, closing, and cash handling.
Manage stock control, ordering and product merchandising to maintain availability and presentation standards.
Ensure full compliance with food hygiene, health and safety and company policies.
Handle customer queries and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
Monitor sales and implement initiatives to achieve business targets.
Provide staff training, supervision and performance management.
Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming store environment at all times.
Candidate Requirements
Proven retail management experience is essential.
Level 2 or 3 Food Safety Certificate is essential.
Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.What we provide
