About the Role
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of a busy butcher counter, ensuring the highest standards of preparation, presentation, and hygiene. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining product quality while creating a welcoming and knowledgeable service experience for customers.
Key Responsibilities

Preparing and cutting meat to a high professional standard

Delivering excellent customer service and offering product advice
*
Maintaining strict food hygiene and safety standards (Level 2/3 preferred)

Managing stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
*
Creating attractive and well-stocked displays
*
Supporting and mentoring colleagues where required
About You

Proven experience as a butcher in a retail, farm shop, or similar environment

Strong knife skills and excellent product knowledge

Passionate about quality, provenance, and customer care

Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
