We are looking for Children's Residential Team Leaders to provide safe, nurturing and child-centred care while leading and supporting Residential Support Workers across its West Midlands homes.
You will lead and motivate staff, support supervisions and development, help plan rotas, ensure care plans and risk assessments are followed, promote strong safeguarding practice, guide staff through challenging behaviour and de-escalation, maintain accurate records and build positive relationships with children, families and professionals.
What we are looking for:
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent - essential
• Enhanced DBS suitable for work with children and young people
• Strong safeguarding and child-protection knowledge
• Leadership, mentoring or shift-leading capability
• Strong communication, record keeping and professional boundaries
• Emotional resilience and flexibility for shifts, weekends and sleep-ins where required
Level 5 leadership, previous Team Leader/Senior experience, complex-needs experience and a full UK driving licence are strong advantages.Experienced practitioners ready to step into Team Leader responsibility are also welcomed.
