Religious Studies Teacher - Full Time

Location: Derby
Start: February 2026
Contract: Full time, until Summer break

Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a secondary to recruit a Religious Studies Teacher for a full-time, temporary position starting immediately.

This role has arisen due to staff absence and will involve teaching Religious Studies across Key Stages 3 and 4 and Sociology at KS4. The school is keen to appoint a confident and engaging teacher who can maintain continuity and high standards of learning during this period.

The Role:

Full-time teaching of Religious Studies and Sociology

Planning and delivering engaging, inclusive lessons

Supporting pupils' personal development and academic progress

Working collaboratively within a supportive department

The Ideal Candidate:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Experience teaching Religious studies and Sociology

Strong classroom management skills

Available to start immediately

Open to early career teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers
