Karisla Limited is seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to take the reins of a newly repurposed children’s residential home. This is a unique opportunity to design and lead a specialist service, catering to the needs of a smaller group of children.

In this role, you’ll be supported by a dedicated team of specialists across HR, Recruitment, Referrals, Marketing, Maintenance, Finance, Clinical, Legal, Commercial, Learning and Development, and IT. You will also benefit from the support and guidance of a proactive Responsible Individual and a Residential Director with hands-on experience.

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding care, ensuring children achieve positive outcomes

• Oversee the day-to-day management of the home, including service development and strategic planning

• Lead and mentor your team, fostering a therapeutic and supportive environment

• Manage budgets and financial performance effectively

• Ensure safeguarding and compliance with all relevant legislation, including The Children Act 1989 and Children’s Home Regulations

• Collaborate with other professionals to provide tailored care for each child

What We’re Looking For

• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar environment (complex care, solo)

• Qualifications: Level 4 in Children and Young People’s Workforce, and working towards or completed Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services (Children and Young People)

• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and children’s legislation

• A proactive, enthusiastic leader with a hands-on approach

• Experience in managing budgets and financial planning

• A full UK driving licence

• Flexibility to work on call when required
