Are you an experienced Domiciliary Care Manager looking for an opportunity to lead and develop a growing service?
We are recruiting a motivated and confident Registered Manager to oversee a domiciliary care service in Enfield. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the service, ensuring that safe, effective and person-centred care is delivered while maintaining high standards of CQC compliance.
This opportunity could suit an experienced Registered Manager or a strong Deputy Manager who has the knowledge and leadership skills required to progress.
Key Responsibilities
-Manage the day-to-day operation of the domiciliary care service.
-Maintain compliance with CQC regulations and relevant legislation.
-Lead and support care coordinators, field supervisors and care staff.
-Complete and review care plans, risk assessments and service-user reviews.
-Monitor care quality through audits, spot checks and staff observations.
-Manage safeguarding concerns, complaints, incidents and investigations.
-Oversee recruitment, induction, training, supervision and staff performance.
-Ensure care visits are allocated and delivered in line with individual care plans.
-Maintain accurate staff and service-user records.
-Work closely with service users, families, healthcare professionals and local authorities.
-Participate in a shared and fairly rotated out-of-hours on-call rota.
-Support the continued growth of the service without compromising care quality.
Essential Requirements
-Previous management experience within a domiciliary care service.
-Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and the Health and Social Care Act.
-Experience managing care staff and overseeing community-based care delivery.
-A good understanding of safeguarding, medication management, risk assessments and person-centred care planning.
-Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, or currently working towards it.
-Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
-Confidence managing complaints, incidents and staff performance.
-Willingness to participate in the shared out-of-hours on-call rota.
-Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
-Right to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship.
Desirable Experience
-Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager.
-Experience preparing for or supporting CQC inspections.
-Knowledge of electronic care-planning and rota-management systems.
-Experience working with local authorities and healthcare professionals.
-Experience supporting business development and securing new care packages.
