Diamond Search are delighted to be representing our client in the appointment of an experienced Registered Manager in Basildon.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a 4-bed residential service supporting adults with Autism and complex needs. The service has recently undergone significant refurbishment and offers modern communal spaces, sensory facilities, multiple kitchens and a private garden.
We're looking for a hands-on, flexible and experienced CQC Registered Manager who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care and developing a strong team.
The Role
You'll take overall responsibility for the safe, effective and compliant running of the service, including:

Leading, motivating and developing the care team.
*
Delivering safe, person-centred, outcome-focused support.
*
Ensuring full compliance with CQC, safeguarding and statutory requirements.
*
Preparing for and supporting regulatory inspections.
*
Overseeing medication, incidents, risk assessments and quality assurance.
*
Recruiting, supervising and developing staff.
*
Managing staffing levels and participating in the on-call rota.
*
Managing budgets and resources effectively.
*
Building strong relationships with families, professionals and commissioners.
*
Driving continuous improvement across the service.
About You
We're looking for:
*
Previous Registered Manager / senior management experience within adult social care.
*
Strong knowledge of CQC requirements and regulatory frameworks.
*
Experience supporting adults with Autism and complex needs.
*
Proven experience leading and developing a care team.
*
Strong understanding of safeguarding, quality assurance and risk management.
*
Excellent organisational, financial and communication skills.
*
A genuine passion for delivering outstanding outcomes.
*
Level 5 Adult Management Diploma (or equivalent), or willingness to complete.
Salary & Benefits
£40,000 basic salary + £5,000 once CQC registration is completed, backdated to your probation pass date.
