Registered Care Home Manager – Family-Run Residential Care Home
Location: Market Harborough, Leicestershire
Salary: £42,000 – £45,000 per annum
Contract: Full-time | Permanent
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Care Home Manager to lead a medium-sized residential care home in Market Harborough, Leicestershire. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive, family-run provider with a growing portfolio of homes and strong operational support in place.
The home benefits from a Good CQC rating and an excellent resident/family review score rating, reflecting the high standards of care and positive reputation already established within the service.
This role would suit either an experienced Home Manager or a strong Deputy Manager ready to take the next step in their career. As Registered Care Home Manager, you will ensure the home delivers high-quality, person-centred care while maintaining strong operational performance, team development, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide effective leadership and day-to-day operational management
* Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and best practice
* Lead, develop, and motivate the staff team
* Maintain high standards of care and resident experience
* Support occupancy growth and oversee assessments for prospective residents
* Manage staffing levels effectively while maintaining zero agency usage
* Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
* Promote a positive, supportive, and inclusive culture throughout the home
Requirements:
* Experience managing within a residential or nursing home setting
* Open to experienced Deputy Managers seeking progression
* Strong leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills
* Good understanding of CQC standards and compliance
* Adaptable, resilient, and hands-on approach
* A genuine commitment to high-quality, person-centred care
