Registered Care Home Manager – Family-Run Nursing Home
Location: Romsey, Hampshire
Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 per annum
Contract: Full-time | Permanent

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Care Home Manager to lead a medium-sized nursing home in Romsey, Hampshire. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive, family-run provider with a growing portfolio of homes and strong operational support in place.

This role would suit either an experienced Home Manager or a strong Deputy Manager ready to take the next step in their career. As Registered Care Home Manager, you will ensure the home delivers high-quality, person-centred care while maintaining strong operational performance, team development, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide effective leadership and day-to-day operational management

* Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and best practice

* Lead, develop, and motivate the staff team

* Maintain high standards of care and resident experience

* Support occupancy growth and oversee assessments for prospective residents

* Manage staffing levels effectively while maintaining zero agency usage

* Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals

* Promote a positive, supportive, and inclusive culture throughout the home

Requirements:

* Experience managing within a nursing home setting

* Open to experienced Deputy Managers seeking progression

* Strong leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills

* Good understanding of CQC standards and compliance

* Adaptable, resilient, and hands-on approach

* A genuine commitment to high-quality, person-centred care

* Nurse qualification not essential
