Registered Care Home Manager – Family-Run Residential Care Home

Location: Ripley, Derbyshire
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum
Contract: Full-time | Permanent

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Care Home Manager to lead a medium-sized residential care home in Ripley, Derbyshire. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive, family-run provider with strong operational support in place.

This role would suit either an experienced Home Manager or a strong Deputy Manager ready to take the next step in their career. As Registered Care Home Manager, you will ensure the home delivers high-quality, person-centred care while maintaining strong operational performance, team development, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Provide effective leadership and day-to-day operational management

Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and best practice

*

Lead, develop, and motivate the staff team

*

Maintain high standards of care and resident experience

*

Support occupancy and oversee assessments for prospective residents

*

Manage staffing levels effectively while maintaining zero agency usage

*

Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals

*

Promote a positive, supportive, and inclusive culture throughout the home

Requirements

Experience managing within a residential or nursing home setting

*

Open to experienced Deputy Managers seeking progression

*

Strong leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills

*

Good understanding of regulatory standards and compliance

*

Adaptable, resilient, and hands-on approach

*
