Aspire People are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming, community-focused primary school in Shrewsbury for an experienced and nurturing Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team on a full-time basis for the remainder of the academic year, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

The Role
As the Reception Teacher, you will:
Lead a Reception class in line with the EYFS Framework
Deliver engaging, play-based and child-centred learning experiences
Create a stimulating and nurturing classroom environment
Support children's development across all areas of learning
Complete observations and assessments in line with EYFS requirements
Work closely with parents, carers, and support staff
Provide effective support and differentiation for pupils with SEN
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has recent experience teaching within EYFS/Reception
Has strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and early child development
Has experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Demonstrates strong classroom management and organisational skills
Is patient, creative, and passionate about early years education
Works well as part of a team
