Part-Time Quantity Surveyor (Permanent or Contract)
My client is a growing general construction business specialising in residential and commercial. Working on New Build, extensions, refurbishments, and small-to-medium construction projects. Due to continued growth, we are looking to appoint an experienced Part-Time Quantity Surveyor to support our projects from pre-construction through to final accounts.
This role offers flexibility and would suit someone looking for a part-time position, whether on a permanent basis or as a contractor.
Key Responsibilities

Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation
*
Producing and managing valuations, variations, and final accounts
*
Monitoring project costs and cash flow
*
Assisting with procurement of subcontractors and materials
*
Reviewing subcontractor applications and payments
*
Supporting project managers with commercial reporting
*
Ensuring projects are delivered within agreed budgets
About You
*
Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within general construction
*
Strong understanding of extensions, refurbishments, and small works projects
*
Confident working independently and managing multiple projects
*
Good commercial awareness and attention to detail
*
Strong communication and organisational skills
*
Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience
