About the Role
Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced and qualified QTS Tutor to join our team in Trafford, starting in January 2026. This role involves delivering 1:1 tutoring in core subjects (Maths, English, and Science) to students who need additional support. We are looking for a highly skilled tutor with QTS who can personalise lessons to meet individual learning needs and help students gain the confidence and skills to succeed academically.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver 1:1 tutoring in Maths, English, and Science, tailoring lessons to suit each students learning style.

Help students develop subject knowledge, improve their study skills, and build exam confidence.

Create a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement and progress.

Track and monitor student progress, providing regular, constructive feedback to parents/carers or other professionals.

Develop and implement structured learning plans, ensuring clear academic goals are met.

Essential Requirements:

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).

Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in core subjects (Maths, English, or Science).

Right to work in the UK.

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.

Desirable Qualifications:

Experience working with SEN learners (Autism, ADHD, SEMH).

Experience teaching at the secondary level or GCSE-level tutoring.

Additional Information:

Sessions typically take place during school hours, with occasional after-school or evening availability.
