Hourly Rate: GBP30 per hour
Average Hours: 20 hours per week

Role Overview:
Are you a QTS-qualified teacher with a passion for supporting students who need additional academic help? This part-time QTS Tutor role in Trafford offers an exciting opportunity to provide Maths and English tuition to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

As a QTS Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering tailored lessons during school hours (9 AM - 3 PM) to students in need of extra support, helping them progress and build confidence in both Maths and English. The role requires a QTS qualification to ensure that you are equipped to provide high-quality, structured tutoring to students.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide Maths and English tuition to students with SEN during school hours (9 AM - 3 PM).

Create and deliver engaging, personalised lessons that cater to the individual learning needs of each student.

Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly to help them achieve their academic goals.

Collaborate with school staff to ensure that students receive comprehensive and consistent support.

Develop personalised learning plans to support both academic and personal growth.

Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.

Requirements:

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential.

At least 6 months of UK-based experience in tuition or working with children with SEN.

Experience in teaching Maths and English in a structured, student-centred way.

Availability for at least 3 days a week.

Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.

A student-focused approach to teaching, with the ability to engage and inspire learners.

Additional Information:

The role is part-time, with an average of 20 hours per week.

The hourly rate is GBP30, and the role will be carried out during school hours (9 AM to 3 PM).
