Job Title: Part-Time SEN Tutor (Maths & English) - QTS Required

Start Date: April 2026 (After Easter Half Term)
Hourly Rate: GBP30 per hour
Average Hours: 20 hours per week
Role Overview:

If you are a qualified teacher with QTS and have experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), this part-time SEN Tutor role could be the perfect fit for you!
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled tutor to join our team in Wigan, starting after the Easter half-term in April 2026. The role will involve delivering Maths and English tuition during school hours (between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM), working with students who have SEN.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Maths and English tuition to students with SEN.
Support students during school hours (9 AM - 3 PM).
Deliver engaging and tailored lessons based on students individual learning needs.
Regularly assess progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet specific learning requirements.
Requirements:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential.
At least 6 months of UK-based experience in tuition or working with children with SEN.
Ideally, availability for at least 3 days a week.
A genuine passion for supporting students learning and personal development.
Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently.
Additional Information:
The role will be part-time with an average of 20 hours per week.
The hourly rate is GBP30, with all work carried out during school hours (9 AM - 3 PM).
