Hours: Up to 18 hours per week – Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday

Job description

The Purchasing Assistant will support the Production Manager and Business Development Manager in planning and organising material purchases, subcontract work, and supplier relationships. Key responsibilities include:

* Creating and reconciling purchase orders with supplier invoices

* Processing supplier invoices and entering information onto the ERP/MRP system

* Communicating and building relationships with suppliers, resolving queries and payment issues

* Monitoring stock levels to meet production schedules and customer orders

* Supporting supplier appraisals and annual performance reviews

* Attending ad-hoc meetings and providing administrative support as needed
