Public Facilities Security Operative

CSS Recruitment are looking for a Public Facilities Security Operative in the Brightlingsea - Walton-on-the-Naze area.

Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will be required to have a full UK driving licence, with access to vehicle (mileage paid).

This role is to open and close public convenience and car parks.

Base Duties:

* To ensure that the Council public conveniences are empty by checking all cubicles before locking and opening and locking car parks.

* The post holder will be required to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

* Always Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety regulations and to ensure a safe working area.

* To lock and unlock the facility and to ensure that all keys are kept safely and that all security checks are completed as instructed.

* To maintain and keep cleaning equipment in good condition.

* To assist the public to safely use the facilities.

* To report any faults and defects to the cleaning supervisor

* To undertake any other duties as directed by the cleaning supervisor

* To work on own initiative and allocate time between several sites.

* Be able to drive Council owned vehicles.

You will be shown the full route by the cleaning supervisor.

4:30am till 7:30am – 8pm till 11pm

3 days on 3 days off, 2 days on 2 days off, 2 days on 2 days off
