A primary school in Sheffield is on the lookout for a proactive individual to fill an immediate vacancy. They need a Teaching Assistant who isn't fazed by difficult situations and can use a blend of empathy and structure to support children with SEN.

This role is perfect for a psychology graduate or an experienced TA who thrives on a challenge. You will be the anchor for pupils who struggle to regulate, focusing on trust-building and consistent boundaries to unlock their potential.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

A Level 3 TA qualification or a degree in Psychology/Criminology.

Proven experience managing challenging behaviour in a school, care, or youth work setting.

A toolbox of practical de-escalation and distraction techniques.

Unshakeable patience and a consistent approach.

A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or the ability to process one immediately).
