Our client, a distinguished player in the Defence & Security sector, is seeking a diligent and dedicated Project Security Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Project Security Manager, you will undertake a pivotal Product Support role across multiple projects, predominantly during product development using Secure by Design (SbD) principles. Reporting to the Supportability Engineering Functional Lead, your key responsibilities will include:

Performing Project Security risk analysis
Ensuring project security deliverables and processes meet customer requirements
Developing and implementing robust Product Security Policies
Estimating manpower for bid processes
Chairing internal and external project Security Reviews and Working Groups
Providing additional assistance to the Supportability Function as necessary
Collaborating with project teams across engineering, product development, and quality assurance

Job Requirements:

Experience in Project Security planning and implementation (e.g., NIST 800 series)
Experience in delivering project documentation using SbD principles
Experience in Security/Information Assurance (e.g., CESG Good Practice Guides)
Experience in Security risk assessment (e.g., NCSC methodology)
Commitment to quality, performance, and cost-efficiency
Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
Ability to work autonomously while maintaining professional integrity
Proficient computer skills, including MS Office suite
Excellent literacy and communication skills
Ability to attain SC UK security clearance

Desirable Skills:

Risk Management
DevSecOps
Electromagnetic Compatibility
TEMPEST
Familiarity with Defence Security Standards (e.g., Def Stan 05-138, JSP440)
Previous experience in Defence Security or related sectors
