A well-established construction consultancy in London is looking for a Project Manager with residential experience to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager who wants to work on varied residential schemes while continuing to develop within a professional consultancy environment.
The Project Manager will support the delivery of residential projects from inception through to completion, working closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and senior team members. This Project Manager role would suit a capable Project Manager who has strong residential sector knowledge, good client-facing skills, and the confidence to manage project responsibilities across pre-contract and post-contract stages. The successful Project Manager will be organised, proactive, and keen to progress within a supportive team.
You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.
The Project Manager's role
The Project Manager will be responsible for supporting and managing residential construction projects across London and the South East.
The Project Manager will assist with project planning, programme management, consultant coordination, procurement, reporting, contract administration, risk management, and stakeholder communication. They will attend client and site meetings, monitor progress, liaise with contractors, and help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
The Project Manager may also support Employer's Agent duties on JCT Design & Build projects, including managing instructions, valuations, change control, progress reporting, and handover processes.
The Project Manager
The successful Project Manager will have:
Prior experience working within a construction consultancy environment
Residential project experience
Experience as a Project Manager or a strong Assistant Project Manager ready to step up
A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, or another construction-related discipline
Working towards MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB, or another relevant professional qualification
Good knowledge of JCT contracts
Employer's Agent experience would be beneficial
Strong communication, organisation, and client-facing skills
A proactive and professional approach to project delivery
