A well-established property and construction consultancy is looking for a Project Manager to join its London team, with the Project Manager working from the Warner Bros. Studios campus in Watford around two days per week. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to deliver smaller projects independently while supporting senior colleagues on larger and more complex schemes.
The Project Manager will work across residential, commercial, mixed-use, heritage, and student accommodation projects. This Project Manager role would suit a confident and personable Project Manager who can build strong relationships with clients and project teams. The successful Project Manager will take ownership of smaller commissions, support Senior Project Managers on major projects, and represent the consultancy professionally within the high-profile Warner Bros. Studios environment.
You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.
The Project Manager's role
The Project Manager will manage smaller projects from inception through to completion while supporting senior team members on larger commissions.
The Project Manager will assist with project planning, consultant coordination, procurement, programme management, contract administration, risk management, reporting, and stakeholder communication. They will chair meetings where appropriate, monitor project progress, coordinate actions, and ensure project information is issued accurately and on time.
The Project Manager will work closely with the client team at Warner Bros. Studios in Watford around two days each week, so the ability to travel there reliably is essential. Personality and communication style will be particularly important, as the Project Manager will need to build trust and work effectively within a collaborative and fast-paced client environment.
The Project Manager
The successful Project Manager will have:
Three to five years' project management experience
Prior experience within a construction consultancy
Experience across residential, commercial, mixed-use, heritage, or student accommodation projects
The ability to lead smaller projects and support senior colleagues on larger schemes
A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, or a related discipline
Good knowledge of JCT contracts and project delivery
A personable, adaptable, and professional approach
The ability to travel to Warner Bros. Studios in Watford around two days per week
MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB, or progress towards a relevant professional qualification
