PROJECT MANAGER / SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER – ESSEX
Salary: £90,000–£100,000 + Package
A leading Tier 1 main contractor is looking for a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager to join a major long-term programme in Essex.
The successful candidate will oversee two live site teams across concurrent projects, taking overall responsibility for delivery, programme, commercial performance and, importantly, stakeholder management.
The role will involve working closely with senior client representatives and multiple stakeholders, so strong communication and relationship management skills are essential.
The business is looking for someone from a strong Tier 1 background with a proven track record delivering projects across multiple sectors. MOJ / prison experience is desirable but not essential.
We are also open to Senior Site Managers who feel they are already operating at Project Lead level, or those ready to make the step up into a Project Manager position.
Key requirements:
• Strong Tier 1 main contractor background – essential
• Mixed-sector project experience
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Project delivery experience across complex schemes
• MOJ / prison experience desirable, but not essential
• Permanent background preferred – candidates with a predominantly freelance background will not be considered
