Project Manager - Construction

We are recruiting a Construction Project Manager for a fixed-term assignment at a large, highly automated logistics facility in the UK. This role sits within an operations-focused engineering environment and is responsible for the safe and effective delivery of construction and installation activities on site.
You will take ownership of construction works from planning through to handover, coordinating contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure delivery against programme, cost, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Manage construction and installation activities within an automated industrial environment

Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and consultants on site

Control project schedules, budgets, and risk registers
*
Ensure full compliance with health & safety legislation and site standards

Liaise with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams

Oversee site progress, quality, and issue resolution
*
Manage change control and project close-out activities
Candidate Profile
*
Proven experience delivering construction projects in industrial, logistics, or automated facilities
*
Strong site-based project management background
*
Confident managing multiple contractors and workstreams
*
Solid understanding of health & safety and construction regulations
*
Able to operate independently in a fast-paced environment
