Rate of pay: £13.36 per hour PAYEWe are seeking a Print Room Officer to deliver an efficient, secure, and high-quality print and mail service. This role involves using state-of-the-art digital printing systems and supporting internal mail services. The position is ideal for candidates who can prioritise work effectively and are quick learners. Training will be provided for those without direct experience in digital reprographics.
Day-to-day of the role:
Operate and maintain a variety of reprographics equipment including high-speed digital printers and finishing devices.
Manage and prioritise print jobs to meet deadlines, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to specifications.
Handle scanning, document processing, and digital file management, maintaining GDPR compliance and data accuracy.
Support internal mail services, ensuring timely distribution and dispatch of materials.
Engage with staff and provide advice on print specifications and finishing options to meet their needs.Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience in a high-volume print or production environment is essential.
Proficiency in operating multi-functional devices (e.g., photocopiers, printers, guillotines).
Strong IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Excel, Outlook) and Google Suite.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide high-level customer service.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
