Salary: £100 - £110 per day
Class Mate is recruiting a part-time Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a Year 3 pupil with ADHD in a welcoming and supportive primary school in NG2, starting immediately.
The Role
• Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Year 3 pupil with ADHD
• Implement strategies to support focus, behaviour, and emotional regulation
• Work closely with the class teacher to adapt learning activities
• Support the pupil’s academic progress and social development
• Create a consistent, structured, and nurturing learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
• Experience supporting pupils with ADHD or similar needs
• Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies
• Patient, resilient, and adaptable approach
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Passionate about supporting individual pupil development
Requirements
• Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience
• Recent experience working within a UK primary school
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Ability to provide two professional references
