The business has been trading for over 25 years, remains privately owned and is currently turning over around £150 million per annum specialising with in reinforced concrete frames, cut & carve, groundworks, basement construction and demolition. Package values vary depending on works involved but their current largest scheme includes all of their specialist works and is estimated to value around £30 million on one project over the next two years.
About the Opportunity
* Support the planning function, which involves creating and managing project schedules at a detailed level.
* Prepare tender programmes to support bid proposals.
* Maintain and process information from different entities and coordinate in a controlled process.
* Work closely with senior management, project teams, design teams and contractors to maintain accurate and up to date data for different stages of projects.
* Track and evaluate progress of live sites and the pre-construction phases
* Apply agreed planning standards and ensure they are adopted and embedded across the programme.
About the requirements
* Good understanding of the construction industry and processes, from the design stage through to completion of the projects
* Demonstrate the process of the information, coordination and presentation to others
* Proficient with Microsoft Office and similar products to report and maintain schedules.
* Proficient use with ASTA Powerproject
* Preferably a construction related education (BSc/MSc)
About the Benefits and Rewards
Salary range of £90,000 - £110,000 per annum.
