We are working with a leading, fast-growing contractor operating within the fire protection and life safety sector, delivering projects across social housing, healthcare, and public sector frameworks.
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are now looking to appoint a Pre-Construction Manager to support and strengthen their pre-construction function.
This business provides a full lifecycle service, including consultancy, design, installation, and maintenance of fire safety systems such as fire doors, fire stopping, alarms, and sprinkler systems.
The Role
As Pre-Construction Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of projects from early concept through to handover to operations.
You will be responsible for:
* Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions
* Supporting bid strategy and tender processes
* Reviewing project specifications and ensuring technical and commercial accuracy
* Working closely with clients to understand requirements and ensure alignment
* Supporting value engineering and risk assessment across projects
* Collaborating with design, commercial, and operational teams
* Assisting in the development of pre-construction processes and best practices
The Candidate
You will ideally have:
* Experience in a Pre-Construction, Estimating, or Commercial role
* Strong understanding of cost planning, tendering, and bids
* Good communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ambition to progress within a growing business
