We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic PPA Teacher to support a primary school in Brent. This role involves covering classes across Nursery to Key Stage 2, delivering high-quality lessons, and maintaining a positive learning environment while teachers are on their PPA (Planning, Preparation and Assessment) time.
The Role:
• Deliver lessons across Nursery, KS1 and KS2 in line with the school’s curriculum
• Maintain classroom management and a positive learning environment
• Ensure continuity of learning and engagement during teacher absences
• Adapt lessons to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEN and additional needs
• Collaborate with teaching staff to follow schemes of work and lesson plans
• Monitor pupil behaviour and learning, providing feedback to class teachers
• Support school routines, safeguarding, and health & safety requirements
What We’re Looking For:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential
• Experience teaching across primary age ranges (Nursery – KS2)
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Ability to adapt teaching for different abilities and needs
• Confident, proactive, and professional approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
