We are looking for caring, reliable and enthusiastic Personal Assistants to support adults to live independently in their own homes and communities.
This is a varied and rewarding role focused on helping people maintain their independence, make their own choices and enjoy fulfilling lives.
The Role
As a Personal Assistant, you will provide person-centred support based around each individual's needs, preferences and goals.
Your duties may include:
* Supporting independence, choice and everyday living skills
* Providing personal care where required
* Helping with cooking, cleaning, shopping and household tasks
* Supporting people to access activities and their local community
* Providing emotional and social support
* Supporting health and wellbeing
* Working with families and healthcare professionals
* Maintaining accurate records and following safeguarding procedures
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
* Caring, compassionate and respectful
* Reliable, positive and flexible
* A good communicator
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
* Committed to promoting dignity, choice and independence
Previous care or support experience is beneficial but not essential. A Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification is desirable, but we are equally interested in candidates with the right values and attitude.
