Payroll Senior (Part-time)

We are currently partnered with a large, fast-growing accountancy who are seeking a Part-time Payroll Senior to join their team on a permanent basis out of their Harlow office. The role is permanent and part-time 3 days a week, roughly 21 hours.

You will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality payroll services to a portfolio of clients and assisting more junior members of the team where required.

Responsibilities will include:

Manage and process own portfolio of clients from start - finish
Proactively manage client expectations
Oversee year end processing & other statutory reporting
Implement and maintain robust internal quality control procedures for all payroll processes where required
Act as a primary point of contact for queries
Assist with the training and onboarding of new team members
Contribute to the continuous development and optimisation of payroll systems and workflows

Experience processing multiple client's payrolls within a bureau or accountancy environment is essential. Experience using IRIS Payroll Professional or STAR will also be desirable.
