We are currently seeking a Parts Cleaner to join our team at Burton-Upon-Trent This is a hands‑on role cleaning and preparing engines, transmissions and raft parts using manual tools to complete cleaning.
You will work as part of a team, completing cleaning and inspections to components.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out mandatory cleaning and preparation of engines and components.
Use relevant hand tools to complete cleaning and inspections to mechanical components.
Disassemble parts for deep cleaning and re-assembly.
Understand the production schedule, to ensure parts are cleaned on time.
Essential:
Proven experience in an inspection and engineering cleaning role.
Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, detail driven environment.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems and component inspections and cleaning.
A flexible and proactive approach to work.
Commitment to safe working practices.
Desirable:
Previous experience within the rail or automotive industry.
Experience cleaning parts.
Experience inspecting parts.
