We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established charitable organisation for a Warehouse Operations & Data Executive to join their logistics operation in Batley.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, spreadsheets, reporting and operational systems, while also being involved in the day-to-day running of a busy warehouse and logistics environment.

What Makes This Role Different?
This isn't simply an administration position.
You'll become an important link between data and operations, helping warehouse and transport teams understand what's happening across the business and identify opportunities to improve performance.
You'll use Excel and operational data to answer questions, identify trends, monitor KPIs and provide information that helps managers make better decisions.
Your work will include:
Providing administrative and operational support across warehouse functions.
Maintaining accurate systems, records and documentation.
Building, maintaining and improving Excel spreadsheets.
Analysing large datasets and identifying trends and discrepancies.
Producing regular and ad-hoc reports for management.
Tracking KPIs and operational performance.
Monitoring stock movements and inventory levels.
Analysing transport and fleet performance.
Recording environmental and waste data.
Monitoring financial and operational KPIs.
Supporting logistics and transport management systems.
Coordinating with freight forwarders and ensuring export documentation is accurate.
Liaising with transport providers, suppliers and internal departments.
Maintaining health & safety records and training information.
Supporting third-party contractors.
Identifying opportunities to improve processes through better use of data.
Providing excellent internal communication and customer service.
Ensuring company policies and data protection requirements are followed.
Excel Skills Are Essential
We're looking for someone who is genuinely confident with Excel.
You'll ideally be comfortable with:
✔ Formulas and functions
✔ Pivot Tables
✔ Lookups such as VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
✔ Sorting and filtering large datasets
✔ Data analysis and reporting
✔ Creating meaningful reports from raw information
✔ Identifying trends and discrepancies
✔ Maintaining complex spreadsheets
Experience with dashboards, data modelling and advanced Excel functions would be a major advantage.

Ideally Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 4:15pm
