Part-time Sales Development Representative – Wholesale Fresh Cut Flowers

We are a UK-based fresh cut flower importer and wholesaler, supplying florists, wedding florists, event florists, hotels, restaurants, office flower companies and other trade customers across the UK.

We are looking for a motivated part-time Sales Development Representative to help us develop new wholesale customers, qualify leads and arrange quotation opportunities.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in outbound calling, appointment setting, lead generation, customer service or B2B sales. Experience in floristry, wholesale flowers, fresh produce, logistics or FMCG would be an advantage, but full product training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

* Research and build lists of potential trade customers, including florists, wedding florists, event florists, hotels, restaurants and other flower buyers

* Make outbound calls and send follow-up emails to introduce our wholesale fresh cut flower supply

* Qualify leads and identify customers interested in prices, samples or regular supply

* Arrange follow-up calls, sample discussions and quotation opportunities

* Keep accurate records of customer contact, feedback and next steps

* Track enquiries, customer interest and potential order opportunities

* Provide weekly updates on leads contacted, responses received and customer feedback

* Help gather market feedback on flower varieties, pricing, quality expectations and buying habits

* Support the business owner with customer communication and sales follow-up

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

* Experience in outbound calling, telesales, appointment setting, lead generation or customer service

* Confident phone manner and clear communication skills

* Ability to speak professionally with business customers

* Good organisation and follow-up skills

* Ability to work independently and manage their own time

* Basic knowledge of CRM systems, Excel, Google Sheets or similar tools

* A proactive attitude and willingness to learn about the fresh flower wholesale industry

* State applicants must be based in the UK

Experience in any of the following would be helpful but is not essential:

* Floristry or flower retail

* Wholesale flowers

* Wedding or event flowers

* Fresh produce, food service, FMCG or logistics

* B2B sales or supply chain sales

What We Offer

* £13–£15 per hour

Working Hours

8–16 hours per week initially. Hours may increase depending on performance and business growth
