About the Role

We are seeking an organised and proactive Internal Sales Administrator to join a busy and dynamic sales team. This role is ideal for someone with strong administration and customer service skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and supporting both customers and sales colleagues.

You will be responsible for processing customer orders, issuing quotations, coordinating dispatches, and supporting external sales representatives. You'll also manage key customer accounts and help ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Process customer orders, enquiries, and quotation requests accurately and efficiently

Coordinate dispatch of goods to meet customer delivery requirements and proactively communicate any delays

Support external sales representatives with visit reports, quotations, and sample requests

Maintain and update customer and marketing databases to support sales activity and leads

Account manage selected key customers and act as their main point of contact

Assist with ad hoc marketing campaigns as required

Offer alternative products for out-of-stock items

Handle customer service queries in a timely and professional manner

Key Performance Expectations

Customer orders and enquiries responded to within 1 working day

Emails responded to within 1 working day (including holding responses)

Standard quotations issued within 1 working day

Orders dispatched on time, with early communication of any delays

Skills & Experience Required

Previous experience in an internal sales, sales administration, or customer service role

Strong organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Knowledge of Incoterms (desirable)

Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently

Positive problem-solving attitude with strong attention to detail

Team player with a responsible and professional approach
