Our SEN tutors play a vital role in supporting students with complex Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. For this role, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is a strict requirement, ensuring the highest level of teaching expertise for our learners.

You will work with students with needs such as Autism, ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health), and those working below expected academic levels, delivering tailored support that makes a real difference.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, one-to-one Maths and English sessions tailored to SEN learners.
Adapt teaching strategies, lesson content, and pace to meet individual learning and emotional needs.
Support students in developing subject knowledge, study skills, and confidence.
Build a strong, consistent rapport to create a safe and engaging learning environment.
Monitor progress and provide detailed, constructive feedback to parents, carers, and professionals.
Essential Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential (applications without QTS will not be considered).
Minimum of 1 years experience teaching Maths or English.
Experience working with students with SEN in a 1:1 or small group setting.
Right to work in the UK.
Must have, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS check.
Desirable Experience:
Experience supporting students with Autism, ADHD, or SEMH needs.
Strong understanding of differentiated teaching and personalised learning approaches.
