Part Time Cleaner Required - TN1

Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour

Working Pattern

* Fixed days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday

* Approx. 24 hours per week

* Shift times: Expected 08:00–17:00 or 09:00–18:00 (TBC)

Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional Relief Cleaner to join our team at a busy shopping centre environment. This role involves lone working and requires a high standard of presentation, strong English communication skills, and a proactive approach to maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Key Requirements

Driving licence: Required

SIA Licence: Not required

Comfortable with lone working

Good English communication skills

Smart and presentable appearance

Ability to work independently and maintain high cleaning standards

Duties and Responsibilities

General Areas:

Sweep, mop, and vacuum all floors

Dust and wipe surfaces (desks, counters, tables, etc.)

Empty bins and replace liners

Disinfect high-touch points (handles, switches, railings)

Spot clean glass doors and windows

Restrooms:

Clean and sanitise sinks, toilets, and urinals

Refill soap, toilet paper, and hand towels

Mop floors and clean mirrors

Empty waste bins

Kitchen / Break Areas:

Wipe countertops, tables, and appliances

Clean sinks and refill soap

Empty rubbish and recycling bins

Sweep and mop floors

Wash and store dishes if required

Entrance & Reception:

Sweep and mop entrance areas

Clean and dust reception desks

Ensure seating and public areas remain tidy and presentable

Weekly Duties:

Deep clean and sanitise restrooms

Polish stainless steel fixtures

Clean under furniture and in corners

Vacuum upholstery (chairs and sofas)

Remove cobwebs from ceilings and walls

Disinfect phones, keyboards, and office equipment
