Temporary Cleaning Operative – Newcastle City Centre

Hours: 4.5 hours per day
Pay: £13.45 per hour
Contract: Temporary / Part-time

We are currently looking for a Cleaning Operative to work in an office in Newcastle City Centre.

The role is for 4.5 hours per day, with flexibility around the working pattern. The hours could potentially be arranged as:

4.5 hours per day - this could be split into mornings and evening.

Or 5.00pm - 9.30pm

Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the offices.

Duties will include:

General cleaning of office areas and communal spaces

*

Vacuuming and mopping floors

*

Dusting and wiping surfaces

*

Emptying bins

*

Emptying and loading dishwashers

*

Cleaning and maintaining coffee machines

*

Cleaning and maintaining office kitchen and refreshment areas

*

Keeping communal areas clean, tidy and presentable

*

Ensuring the offices are maintained to a consistently high standard

Please note: This role does not include cleaning toilets or washroom facilities.

The ideal candidate

Experienced in office or commercial cleaning (preferred but not essential)

This is a temporary, part-time opportunity for someone looking for regular cleaning work in Newcastle City Centre.
