Are you a highly organised and professional administrator who takes pride in producing exceptional work and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes?

Our client, a respected and growing professional services business based in the heart of Hitchin, is seeking a Part-Time Administrator to provide high-quality administrative and PA support across the organisation. This is a varied and rewarding role that would suit someone who enjoys supporting others, managing multiple priorities and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and correspondence.

Offering flexibility across 4 or 5 short days per week, this opportunity is ideal for an experienced administrator looking for a role that can fit around other commitments while still allowing them to make a significant contribution to a successful business.

The Role

Working closely with the directors and wider team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office. Responsibilities will include:

Diary and calendar management
Coordinating meetings, travel and accommodation arrangements
Preparing, formatting and proofreading professional client-facing documents
Managing correspondence and supporting communication activities
Maintaining company calendars, events and networking schedules
Organising company events and meetings
Providing general administrative support across the business and reception cover when required

About You

We're looking for a candidate who is:

Reliable, professional and highly organised
Experienced in administration such as business support or PA duties
Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritise effectively
Confident producing accurate, polished correspondence and documentation
An excellent communicator, both written and verbal
Discreet and trustworthy when handling confidential information
Proactive, adaptable and happy working independently once trained
Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Word
Happy to be office based and not looking to work from home
Possibly from the construction, architectural or planning industry - this may be an advantage

What's On Offer?

Flexible working pattern across 4 or 5 short days per week between the hours of 9am-5pm.
Employer pension contribution of 3% (employee contributes 5%)
23 days' annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata)
Additional leave between Christmas and New Year (at employer discretion)
