Outreach Tutor - Wrexham
The Opportunity
Prospero Teaching is seeking enthusiastic Outreach Tutors to work with children and young people across Wrexham who require additional support outside of a mainstream classroom environment.
You'll provide individualised tuition to learners who may be disengaged from education, awaiting a school placement or accessing alternative provision. Building trust and positive relationships will be an important part of the role, alongside helping learners make progress with their education.

* Position: Outreach Tutor
* Hours: 5-15 hours per week
* Start Date: September 2026
* Duration: Ongoing
Experience, Training and Qualifications
We're particularly interested in applicants with:
* Experience working with children or young people
* Previous 1:1 tutoring or mentoring experience
* Experience supporting SEND, SEMH or disengaged learners
* QTS or equivalent (desirable)
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
To be eligible, you must:
* Hold the Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
* Provide two professional child-related references
