Outreach Tutor - Liverpool
The Opportunity
Prospero Teaching is seeking dedicated Outreach Tutors to work with children and young people across Liverpool who require personalised educational support.
You will provide 1:1 tuition to learners who may be out of school, awaiting a placement, accessing alternative provision or experiencing difficulties engaging with mainstream education.
Alongside delivering education, you'll play an important role in building trust, encouraging positive learning habits and helping young people reconnect with their education.
Position Details
* Location: Liverpool
* Position: Outreach Tutor
* Hours: 5-15 hours per week
* Start Date: September 2026
* Duration: Ongoing
Experience, Training and Qualifications
We're particularly interested in applicants with:
* Experience working with children or young people
* Previous teaching, tutoring or mentoring experience
* Experience supporting SEND, SEMH or disengaged learners
* QTS or equivalent qualification (desirable)
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
To be eligible, you must:
* Hold the Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
* Provide two professional child-related references
